Badger

Badger is one of the two most popular embedded databases in Go, the other being Bolt. Originally created by D-Graph as a back-end for their graph database, Badger has proven to be a reliable, performant and stable Key-Value database.

We use Badger in much the same way as SQLite. We use it to provision applications on single servers. When the time comes to scale up the data is moved to either PostgreSQL or YugabyteDB. Find out more about Badger.
